As each day passes by here in Dubai, the weather seems to get hotter and hotter. Accordingly, the cars that I've been seeing these past few days have also been hotter than ever. From Bumblebee-designed Chevy Camaros to Bumblebees evolved Chevy Camaros Guyver Edition (yes, you heard that right!), the cars in this Dubai Elite Cars Daily Edition will surely take your breath away with it's combination of beauty and power at the same time. What do you think of this beautifully parked Chevy Bumblebee Camaro? Too bad I didn't catch it transforming to Bumblebee as it would have been a better shot.. But I think this is already amazing as it is and definitely one of the most recognizable "Transformer" cars out there..

Last but definitely not the least (perhaps even the best), is this Bumblebee (on Steroids haha..) Chevy Guyver Edition. This car made my heart stopped when I saw it and definitely had to get out of my sandy way to take a snap of this out of this world car.. Definitely one of the long lost transformers if you ask me.. Perhaps the stronger version of Bumblebee? Bumblehornet maybe? haha.. I don't know.. Maybe you can come up with a better name than that haha :D Hope you enjoyed!
It's been a while since I've posted and is probably related to how busy I was at work these past few weeks. But as the famous saying say "Work hard. Play harder.". Coincidentally, that's what exactly this week's blog will be about. Yes, it will be all about Playing Hard with this week's collection of Super Toy Cars! We will feature all miniature versions of the World's Super Cars from Lamborghinis to Ferraris, Audis and Bentleys! So sit back, relax, grab some popcorn, and enjoy!
Do you always have to worry of having no cash to pay for your cab? Are you mad because the taxi driver doesn't have any change for your 1000 Dirham bill (lol that only means you're rich!)? Well, don't worry anymore!
Almost all Dubai Taxis are now being equipped with card payment machines that are GPRS-enabled and they will now be accepting payments via Credit Cards, Debit Cards, and even Nol cards! Yes, you read that right, Dubai Taxis will now be accepting card payments for your taxi fare and that would be so cool! I don't know if you can pay it in installments too haha.. Yes 15 dirhams 1 year to pay with 0% interest.. just kidding :)
Card Machine on Dubai Taxis
This initiative was introduced by Roads and Transports Authority or RTA last year 2014 and has been implemented in some taxis coming from Dubai Airports. An extra charge of 2 AED (around $ 0.50) will be added for credit card payments while 1 AED (around $0.25) additional charge will be added for Nol card payments.
Taxi passengers will also be able to pay via their mobile devices thru NFC or Near Field Communication (NFC) video below on how to use it and what is NFC (I also didn't know too much about it):
For payment via NFC-enabled mobile devices, customers can purchase special NFC-enabled SIM cards from their service provider in order to use this mode of payment.
As per one of the taxi drivers, this will be implemented in the next month or so and it would be great news for passengers especially for us that are always short on cash haha and , of course for both the driver and passenger during times when both doesn't have change for the payment. Kudos to RTA and to Dubai for another great achievement!
